1. Subject Matter
The Gift Voucher entitles the recipient to use exclusively the services expressly indicated on the voucher itself, within the specified validity period and in compliance with these conditions.
2. Purchase and activation
The Gift Voucher is issued upon confirmation of the online purchase. The purchase date coincides with the Voucher’s activation date and serves as the reference point for calculating its validity period. The voucher is sent in digital format to the email address provided by the purchaser.
3. Notification to the beneficiary
Once the Gift Voucher has been purchased, the purchaser is required to forward all information received to the voucher’s recipient and beneficiary—including these terms of sale and use—so that the beneficiary can correctly understand what is and is not included in the purchased voucher.
4. Validity
The Gift Voucher is valid for 12 (twelve) months from the date of activation. Upon expiry of this period, the voucher shall be deemed permanently expired and may no longer be used. No extension, renewal, conversion into cash, or refund is permitted upon expiry.
5. Booking
Use of the voucher requires an advance booking, which must be made via email or WhatsApp. Bookings are always subject to availability at Hotel Columbia. Should the requested date be unavailable, alternative dates will be proposed. The Gift Voucher does not constitute an automatic booking of services.
6. Exclusion periods
Unless otherwise indicated on the Voucher, it cannot be used on Saturdays, during long holiday weekends, on national holidays, or during peak periods designated by Management.
7. Included services
The voucher is valid exclusively for the services expressly indicated on it. Purchased services cannot be exchanged for different ones. Any additional requests will be considered extra services.
8. Beverages excluded
Beverages of any kind are excluded from the Gift Voucher, unless expressly stated otherwise on the voucher itself. Courses included in dining packages do not cover wine, water, soft drinks, coffee, digestifs, liqueurs, or other types of beverages; these must be paid for separately by the customer at the establishment.
9. Additional services
With this voucher, Hotel Columbia commits solely to providing the services specified. Any service requested directly by the guest that is not included in the voucher will be considered an extra and must be paid for directly at the property upon check-out or at the conclusion of the service.
10. Price changes
Any price changes occurring after the Voucher purchase date do not affect the beneficiary’s right to use the purchased services. Should the cost of the services increase during the Voucher’s validity period, no additional payment will be required for the services included in the Voucher. Any extra services requested by the customer are excluded.
11. Transferability
The Gift Voucher is freely transferable. The name appearing on the Voucher is for identification purposes only and does not restrict the right to transfer it to third parties. In any event, the Voucher may be used only once.
12. “Money-back guarantee” policy and right of withdrawal
All Gift Voucher packages are subject to the “Money-back guarantee” policy. The purchaser may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 (fourteen) days of the purchase date, provided that the Voucher has not been used, booked, or partially redeemed. To submit a return request, the purchaser must access the dedicated procedure on the website www.hotelcolumbia.it using the “Return Request” button. Refunds will be issued exclusively to the purchaser who made the payment, using the same payment method employed for the purchase whenever possible.
13. Booking modifications and no-shows
Any changes to or cancellations of the booking must be communicated with at least 48 hours’ notice. In the event of failure to provide such notice or a failure to appear (a “no-show”), the voucher will be considered fully used and cannot be reused or refunded.
14. Access to the Wellness Center
To enjoy the wellness circuit, we recommend bringing a bathrobe, swimsuit, and pool slippers. A swim cap is not required. Changing rooms and showers are available for guests.
15. Presentation of the Voucher
The Gift Voucher must be presented upon check-in or when accessing the services. The Hotel reserves the right to request an identity document to verify the booking details.
16. Liability
Hotel Columbia shall not be held liable for the inability to use the Voucher due to failure to comply with these conditions or failure to make a reservation within the validity period.
17. Privacy
Personal data will be processed in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), exclusively for purposes related to the management of the purchase, booking, and provision of services.
18. Applicable law
These Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court designated by applicable consumer protection legislation.
